For all of the beautiful produce on display at the Boqueria market, preparing vegetables (and certainly vegetarian dishes) is not necessarily a strong suit of Barcelona’s restaurants. This stunning restaurant designed by Brazilian architect Isay Weinfel for Compania de Lobos is a welcome change. The restaurant itself feels like a stylish 60s-inspired oasis from the bustle of the nearby Ramblas, and the food is unlike any other restaurant in Barcelona. Worth a detour.
