Av. del Paral·lel, 164, 08015 Barcelona, Spain
From the mind of Albert Adrià, brother of Ferran Adrià of the famed el Bulli, Tickets is not your typical Barcelona Tapas bar; it is a truly theatrical dining experience. The playful menu is rooted in molecular gastronomy and the over-the-top décor matches the whimsical plates. Reservations are extremely hard to get, and the waiting list is months long; plan ahead and be tenacious! A seat at the bar is the best experience – providing a front row view of the chefs at work. You can order from the menu but the better route, if you’re feeling adventurous and aren’t worried about the price tag, is the tasting experience. There is no talk of prices and the myriad of tiny artful tapas keep coming until you literally call STOP.
TIP: Reservations are released at midnight, but it has to be both midnight in Barcelona and on your computer, so set your clock appropriately and keep trying!
