The local restaurant scene is diversifying rapidly and growing with a new upscale Spanish eatery expected to open later this month. Boqueria — a Spanish tapas restaurant and bar — announced Tuesday it will open in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square at 46 S.
Spanish tapas restaurant Boqueria will officially open Oct. 16 in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square, at 46 South Main Street. The menu features Spanish specialties like classic tapas, cheese and charcuterie (including prized jamón ibérico), paella and larger plates like Catalan-style roasted chicken, hanger steak a la parrilla and ibérico salbitxada (a Catalan sauce with Marcona almonds.)
Boqueria, a Spanish tapas restaurant and bar, will open Oct. 16 in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square at 46 South Main St., according to the company. Boqueria’s ambiance is described by the company as “intimate,” the food as “simple yet delicious,” classic fare.
