Boqueria, a Spanish tapas restaurant and bar, will open Oct. 16 in West Hartford’s Blue Back Square at 46 South Main St., according to the company. Boqueria’s ambiance is described by the company as “intimate,” the food as “simple yet delicious,” classic fare.

Special to the Boston location will be a curated bar menu running until midnight on weekends, offering pitchers of Boqueria’s famed shishito pepper margaritas and seasonal sangrías, local beers and Spanish wines by the glass, bottle, or porron.
…Boqueria opens today for dinner service in the Fort Point section of the city, moving into a space on Thomson Place between Congress Street and Seaport Boulevard. As mentioned earlier, the new spot focuses on small plates, though the menu also shows such full meals as paella, roasted chicken, hanger steak, and pork, while featuring an extensive wine list along with an array of cocktails and spirits.
Boqueria is a Barcelona-inspired tapas bar serving a menu of Spanish classics and market-driven specials in a warm and contemporary space. Yann de Rochefort opened Boqueria’s flagship location in Manhattan’s Flatiron neighborhood in 2006.
